Parc de L’Imaginaire
Located in the heart of Old Aylmer, the Parc de L’Imaginaire cultural park was created in 1985 in collaboration with the City of Gatineau (then Aylmer). Adjacent to Centre d’exposition L’Imagier, which organizes the artistic programming presented there, the Parc de L’Imaginaire offers an annual line-up featuring musicians and performing artists. During the summer, a series of World and jazz music concerts is offered free of charge in the park. Visitors to this enchanting setting nestled beside the Ottawa River, Cedar Park, and the Symmes Inn Museum can view the sculpture/benches from the City of Gatineau’s public art collection while experiencing rhythms from around the world.
Join us, alone or with friends and family, for the many events that the Parc de l’Imaginaire will be organizing for you this summer!
