Centre d’exposition L’Imagier is a not-for-profit organization engaged in the promotion of contemporary art in the Outaouais region. Founded in Aylmer in 1975, L’Imagier also coordinates events and performances presented in Parc de L’Imaginaire.
A unique summer concert and show venue, Parc de L’Imaginaire hosts a diverse line-up of jazz and world musicians as well as other productions geared to a family audience.
Nestled in the heart of Vieux-Aylmer, Parc de L’Imaginaire is a cultural park created in 1985 in partnership with the City of/Ville de Gatineau (then Aylmer). The park, which is adjacent to Centre d’exposition L’Imagier, welcomes some 4,000 spectators every summer, including families, vacationers and regular and/or curious audiophiles.
Visitors to this enchanting setting near the Ottawa River, Parc des Cèdres park and the Musée de l’Auberge Symmes museum can also check out the sculpture-benches from the Ville de Gatineau’s public art collection.
