Deadline : January 18, 2019
Centre d’exposition L’Imagier invites artists, collectives and curators to submit their project proposals for its 2019-2020 programming to mark the Centre’s official reopening. For this call, L’Imagier encourages rigorous artistic practices with a conceptual, formal or relational approach that is not limited to any specific medium. In keeping with its multidisciplinary mission, special attention will be paid to projects that redefine dissemination contexts to challenge the social and relational function of art. L’Imagier seeks to reflect and embrace the plurality of practices and the representation of cultural, gender/orientation and age diversity.
Centre d’exposition L’Imagier’s new architectural design now features two exhibition spaces: a main gallery (8.20m X 13.15m) and an outdoor screening area that can be used by artists on a one-off basis to project their work on the building’s rear façade.
L’Imagier pays artists according to CARFAC/RAAV ‘s exhibition fee guidelines. Submissions will be reviewed by a peer committee.
